HOW TO PREPARE YOUR SKIN AND BROWS To ensure the color formula adheres perfectly and lasts as long as possible, please follow these steps before your appointment: Arrive fresh-faced: Cleanse your face thoroughly. Your brows and the surrounding skin must be completely free of makeup, oils, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Skip the exfoliation: Avoid using harsh scrubs, chemical peels, or retinol around the brow area for at least 3 days prior to your service to prevent skin sensitivity. Leave them be: Avoid tweezing or waxing your brows right before your appointment; it's best to let the tint do its work on all available hairs. HOW TO PRESERVE YOUR COLOR AFTER To maintain your vibrant, healthy results and maximize the life of your tint (typically 3-5 weeks), follow this simple aftercare: The 24-hour rule: Keep your brows completely dry for the first 24 hours. Avoid swimming, sweating, steaming, and washing your face directly around the eyes. Gentle cleansing: When washing your face later on, use oil-free cleansers (MICELLAR WATER!). Oil-based products can break down the tint faster. Protect from elements: Apply a swipe of brow conditioner or reef-safe SPF over your brows when spending time in the sun, as UV rays can fade the color prematurely.
