Is it necessary to spend a ton of money on essential oils when you just love the aroma?
I have a few thoughts and want to share some simple swaps you can use when blending perfumes and oils for yourself. It helps you save some money! Essential oils of therapeutic grade are expensive. You get what you pay for.
Note: If you are interested in a particular essential oil for their therapeutic benefits, the benefits of the comparable oil may not be the same. As always, DO YOUR RESEARCH! And remember, choosing a good quality essential oil can help eliminate some irritation from the start.
The following is a list of more expensive oils on the left, and after is their more affordable counterparts!
Bergamot —- Grapefruit
Jasmine —- Ylang Ylang
Spearmint —- Peppermint
Lime —- Lemon
Cypress —- Cedarwood
Rose —- Rose Geranium
Chamomile —- Lavender
Tea Tree —- Lavender and Camphor
I hope you found this list helpful! Remember, the products that you are putting onto your skin are being absorbed directly into your blood stream. Just as you take care and put effort into the foods you put into your body, the same consideration should be given to the products you use on your face and body.
As always, feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions.
Cheers for health,
Michal
